Human Resources: Sport Professionals

Regarding the involvement of the human resources in the programs, from the 17 entities that answered the question, there was a total involvement of 1346 professionals in the programs / initiatives described, it is verified that:

  • • 57,9% (n=779) are teachers, involved in 9 programs / initiatives. It should be noted that one reveals the largest number of participants, with all teachers, 549 teachers.
  • • 9,1% (n=122) are trainers, involved in 11 programs / initiatives
  • • 7,1% (n=96) were classified as “others”, involved in 7 programs / initiatives, including administrative, regional coordinators, top athletes and volunteers
  • • 6,5% (n=87) are health technicians, involved in 6 programs / initiatives
  • • 6,4% (n=86) are sport technicians, involved in 9 programs / initiatives
  • • 5,6% (n=75) are sport assistants, involved in 8 programs / initiatives
  • • 4,3% (n=58) are social technicians, involved in 5 programs / initiatives
  • • 2,8% (n=38) referees involved in 5 programs / initiatives
  • • 0,4% (n=5) are classifiers, involved in 1 program / initiative

Regarding the human resources referred to above, they were asked if they would have specific training in inclusion through sport. Of the 17 entities that answered this question, it is verified that:

  • • 64,7% (n=11) entities said that professionals have specific training in inclusion through sport o From the entities that answered affirmatively, 6 indicated that the specific training type focuses on participation in: awareness sessions, adaptations sport trainer, seminars, training during college, referees initial training actions and Master Degree in Adapted Physical Activity.
