Involvement of Sectors: Education, Health, Clubs and Municipalities

In the question “Which sectors are responsible for physical activity and sport for the age categories?” of the 14 entities that answered the question:

  • The Education sector is predominant at ages under 6 years and between 6 and 18 years and no longer appears above the age of 24;
  • The Club sector is predominant above the age of 18, being present at all ages;
  • The Health sector is not significant between the ages of 6 and 18, and its relevance is low in all other ages;
  • The Municipalities sector is not significant between the ages of 6 and 40, and its relevance is low in all other ages.

In the education sector, of the 12 entities that responded to this question, it turns out that:

  • With regard to Physical Literacy, Healthy Lifestyles and Physical Education, most entities considered that the education sector is active / more active;
  • Regarding the topics High Performance, Recreation & Fitness and others, most entities considered the education sector is some active / less active.

In the health sector, of the 12 entities that responded to this question, it turns out that:

  • With regard to Healthy Lifestyles, most entities considered that the health sector is active / more active;
  • Regarding the topics Physical Literacy, High Performance, Physical Education, Recreation & Fitness and others, most entities considered the health sector is some active / less active.

In the clubs sector, of the 12 entities that responded to this question, it turns out that:

  • With regard to Physical Literacy, High Performance, Healthy Lifestyles, Recreation & Fitness and others, most entities considered that the clubs sector is active / more active;
  • Regarding the topic Physical Education, an equal number of entities considered that the clubs sector is active / more active and some active / less active.
